Hi, I’m Anthony John Burke — a communications and data visualization professional with a passion for storytelling in humanitarian settings. I specialize in graphic design, illustration, photography, animation, and video production, and currently work as the HDX Community and Marketing Manager at the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
Originally from Cork, Ireland, I began my career in print media before relocating to Southeast Asia. Since then, I’ve worked as a freelance designer in Bangkok and spent the last decade with the UN, combining creative design with data to support humanitarian response.
I’m fluent in tools like Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and QGIS, and I have experience building websites with WordPress, HTML/CSS, and front-end frameworks. I’m known for being creative, reliable, and collaborative—and I love what I do.
